Bravo au Théâtre de la Chandelle Verte ! L'étonnante virtuosité des acteurs ainsi que leur énergie débordante explosent sur scène et sont inoubliables. Pour nos étudiants de tout niveau comme pour nos professeurs, c'était une soirée exquise. Tous y ont trouvé leur bonheur.

In a hilarious and deeply poignant production, Chandelle Verte’s interpretation of Jean-Michel Ribes’ plays entertains the audience and begs for a profound self-contemplation. These gifted French-speaking actors are a stimulating feast for the eyes; their facial expressions, exaggerated movements, and vibrant costumes visually replenished the audience and left me hungry for more. I noticed that behind the playfulness, however, rest the provoking and introspective issue of careful speech as well as the indefinite roles of human choice or destiny. Chandelle Verte creatively communicates Ribes’ message for humanity through superb theatrical timing and simple props. As a student, I feel sure that everyone will enjoy the divine privilege of witnessing Chandelle Verte in action! Jennifer Schultz |
